According to industry sources, Samsung Electronics will start holding a global strategic meeting on Tuesday to discuss key business strategies for the second half of the year. Samsung holds global strategic meetings in June and December every year, bringing together executives from various business departments and overseas subsidiary leaders. Sources say Samsung will start a three-day meeting with the mobile business department on Tuesday, expecting to discuss the supply chain situation and global demand outlook after the end of the Middle East conflict to address concerns about potential profit softening in the second half of the year. On Thursday, the highly anticipated chip department meeting will be hosted by Samsung Electronics' Device Solutions Department head, Han Sang-yun, where the department is expected to review the supply of high-performance storage products, including high-bandwidth memory chips planned to be delivered to major customers in the second half of the year.
