Midday Review: The ChiNext Index opened higher and rose by 2.05% in half a day, with the lithium battery, super capacitor, and metal new materials sectors leading the gains.
The three major indexes of A-share collectively rose in the morning session. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.06%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.17%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 2.05%. The Beixin 50 Index rose by 1.63%, and the STAR 50 Index rose by 0.49%. The total market turnover was 1.9628 trillion yuan, a decrease of 84.4 billion yuan from the previous day, with most individual stocks in the market rising. In terms of sector themes, supercapacitors, non-metal materials, lithium batteries, metal new materials, and component sectors saw the highest gains; while port and shipping, coal mining and processing, automobile manufacturing, liquor, tourism and hotel sectors saw the biggest losses. On the market, the supercapacitor sector opened high and continued to rise, with stocks such as Maxwell, China XD Electric, and Fenghua High-Tech hitting the limit up, while Hongda Electronics, Ritai New Materials, and Huafeng Stock had the highest gains. The lithium battery sector fluctuated higher, with Noritake Shares, Haopeng Technology hitting the limit up, and Zhuhai Guanyu, Yawei Lithium Energy, and Penghui Energy leading the gains. The metal new materials sector opened low and rose, with Ningbo Yusheng, ZKSHENHUO hitting the limit up, and YOYAN POWDER, YOYAN COMPOSITE, and Yunlu shares leading the gains. The port and shipping sector opened low and continued to decline, with China COSCO Shipping, Ningbo Port, and Nanjing Port leading the declines. The coal mining and processing sector continued to adjust, with Guanghui Energy, China Resources Power, and Pingmei Coal leading the declines.
