West 10 High-speed Railway initiates trial operation throughout the entire line.
The reporter learned from the China Railway Xi'an Bureau that today at 8:39, the 55302 test EMU train departed from Xi'an East Station and traveled along the Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway main line towards Shiyan East Station, marking the start of trial operation of the entire Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway. Trial operation is a full-process, all-element practical test conducted in accordance with actual operation standards before the official opening of a high-speed railway. The Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway starts from Xi'an East Station, passes through Xi'an City and Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province, and Shiyan City in Hubei Province, with a new main line length of about 256 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After opening, it will take about 1 hour to travel from Xi'an to Shiyan, and 3 hours from Xi'an to Wuhan.
