Official launch of the Ulaanbaatar Central Sewage Treatment Plant, a major cooperation project between China and Mongolia.

On June 15, the opening ceremony of the Central Sewage Treatment Plant in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia was held, with Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attending alongside the Director of the Office of the President of Mongolia, Uyless Tuguldur, and Foreign Minister Batceceg. Wang Yi stated that during President Xi Jinping's state visit to Mongolia in 2014, he announced support for Mongolia's economic development, laying the foundation for the construction of the central sewage treatment plant. This project, a project for the people and for friendship, carries the hopes of both leaders and peoples of the two countries. From concept to reality, from groundbreaking to completion, it has become another important symbol of mutual assistance between China and Mongolia.
