On June 14th, local time, the Ukrainian National Security Agency announced that its subordinate "Alpha" Special Operations Center had followed the instructions of Ukrainian President Zelensky to use drones to attack a state reserve oil depot in Rubizhne, Yaroslav Region, Russia. The Ukrainian side stated that the oil depot is over 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and belongs to the Russian state material reserve system, storing various fuels and lubricants for the northeastern part of Russia and serving as a strategic fuel reserve for the military. After the drones hit, a large fire broke out in more than 60 storage tanks, with at least three large fire points inside. The Ukrainian National Security Agency also stated that oil supply, refining, and fuel logistics infrastructure within Russia are legitimate targets for Ukraine, as these facilities provide operational resources for the Russian military to conduct military operations against Ukraine. Russia has not responded to this incident yet. (CCTV News).
