The China-Laos Railway has transported over 10 million tons of goods since the beginning of this year.

According to the China Railway Kunming Bureau, as of June 13, this year, the total transportation of goods on the China-Laos Railway has exceeded 10 million tons, with an average daily transportation of over 67,000 tons and the cross-border transportation of goods exceeding 2.5 million tons. The number of cross-border freight trains operating daily has increased from 2 to a maximum of 23 since the opening of the railway, and the traction capacity of the trains has increased from 2000 tons to 2800 tons, increasing the capacity of a single train by 40%.
