The 15 ultra-high voltage direct current transmission channels are coming.

Starting from the ten major clean energy bases deployed in the "15th Five-Year Plan", multiple ultra-high voltage direct current corridors are currently under construction at a rapid pace. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, 15 such corridors will be put into operation. In the next five years, investment in distribution networks will account for 60% of the total investment in the power grid. The old lines in urban areas need to be upgraded, and the weak power grids in county towns also need to be improved. By 2030, the country will be able to accommodate 9 billion kilowatts of distributed new energy, supporting over 40 million charging piles. According to the National Energy Administration, by 2030, a new type of power grid platform will be preliminary established with the backbone power grid and distribution network as the important foundation and intelligent microgrids as a beneficial supplement. The scale of "transmitting electricity from the west to the east" will exceed 420 million kilowatts, supporting the proportion of new energy generation to reach around 30%.
