The American giant is considering expanding its business layout in liquefied natural gas and the Asian market. Informed sources revealed that ExxonMobil has been conducting preliminary discussions internally. They also stated that Woodside Energy is one of several acquisition targets being evaluated by ExxonMobil. Woodside Energy ADR rose by 14% in New York on Friday. As of the close of trading in Sydney, the company's market value is approximately 59 billion Australian dollars. Informed sources indicated that the discussions are still in the preliminary stages and it is not guaranteed that an agreement will be reached in the end.
