The State Administration for Market Regulation has issued two new regulations on management system certification, which will be implemented starting from September 1st.

Reporters learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation recently released the "Measurement Management System Certification Rules" and the "Intellectual Property Management System Certification Rules", which will officially take effect from September 1st. The two rules follow a structure of "general requirements + specific requirements" in content development. The general part covers scope of application, certification basis, basic requirements for certification bodies and personnel, certification procedures, certification certificates and marks, as well as suspension, revocation, and cancellation of certification certificates in 13 aspects; the specific requirements part is written for the professional characteristics of different certification areas, emphasizing on the equipment configuration of measurement devices involved in the scope of certification, as well as the consequences of measurement results failure and errors that may occur in the "Measurement Management System Certification Rules"; the "Intellectual Property Management System Certification Rules" focuses on the characteristics of knowledge property acquisition, maintenance, application, and protection processes, dividing certification risks levels, assessing certification auditors' professional fields, establishing certification application acceptance conditions, arranging audit times, planning audit schemes, and implementing on-site audits are key influencing factors.
