The People's Bank of China released a draft explanation on the "Management Measures for Large Denominations Savings Certificates," which mentioned that the measures reserve policy space for the future development of large denomination savings certificates. Increasing the bond repurchase rate of deposit-taking financial institutions or other rates approved by the People's Bank of China as the reference interest rate for floating-rate savings certificates to enrich the pricing reference indicators for large denomination savings certificates.
