Huawei announces its Hongmeng Plan to accelerate the scale development of the open-source HarmonyOS ecosystem.

At Huawei Developer Conference 2026, Yu Chengdong, Chairman of Huawei Terminal BG, released the Hongtu Plan, transitioning from being a technical contributor to a comprehensive enabler, supporting over 20 industries, 200+ types of chips, and 1200+ types of devices to use the open-source HarmonyOS.
