The Yongzhou Railway has made new progress again, and is expected to be ready for operation by 2028.

Recently, the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway Jintang Undersea Tunnel successfully broke through 1729 rings on the side of Ningbo, marking the completion of 70% of the shield machine excavation task on the Ningbo side. As a core and controlling project of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway, the tunnel starts from Ningbo Beilun in the west and extends to Jintang in Zhoushan in the east. It is currently the longest undersea high-speed rail shield tunnel in the world with the most complex geological conditions and the highest construction difficulty. The Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway is expected to be ready for operation in 2028.
