Full text of "Rectifying Enterprise-related Infringement Information and Optimizing the Self-discipline Convention of Business Network Environment" released.

Recently, under the guidance of the National Internet Information Office, key websites and platforms have jointly formulated the "Self-discipline Convention for Cleaning up Enterprise-related Infringement Information and Optimizing the Business Environment online". The "Convention" clearly states that websites and platforms must promptly remove information that infringes on the personal rights of entrepreneurs, proactively delete verified false information related to enterprises, strengthen the management of enterprise-related topics on rankings, continuously optimize algorithm recommendation mechanisms, prevent the spread of negative information related to enterprises, strictly regulate illegal profit-making activities, revoke the profit-making permissions of "self-media" accounts that frequently publish negative information related to enterprises, and strengthen the handling of accounts involved in such activities.
