Ministry of Emergency Management: This year plans to recruit 17,000 firefighters.

The reporter learned on the 11th from the Emergency Management Department that the recruitment work for firefighters in the national comprehensive firefighting and rescue team for the year 2026 has recently started. This year, the plan is to recruit 17,000 firefighters, including 14,150 for urban and rural firefighting and rescue teams and 2,850 for mobile firefighting and rescue teams; recruiting 5,667, 5,667, and 5,666 individuals respectively from recent graduates of universities, retired soldiers, and young people in society.
