Lin Xi, a core member of the ByteDance AI hardware team and the product manager of Douyin mobile phones, has recently resigned. He is the first core hardware manager to leave since ByteDance started the AI phone project in 2024. It is reported that Lin Xi previously worked for Huawei Terminal, where he was the product manager for the Pura X foldable smartphone.
