Cloud-sky direct current transmission rights market trading launched

Journalists learned from the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration that starting from June 1st, the Yunxiao DC transmission channel, located in Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, which connects Fujian and Guangdong, will carry out market-oriented electricity trading. This provides a path for various types of operating entities to participate in trading on an equal footing and effectively utilize the channel. As the first market-oriented transmission rights project between the State Grid Corporation of China and the Southern Power Grid Company, this move marks a key step in the construction of a unified national electricity market in the field of market-oriented allocation of cross-regional transmission resources.
