On June 3rd, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council held a routine press conference. A reporter asked about recent claims by the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities in Taiwan that mainland-developed applications such as Gaode Maps, Bilibili, and iQiyi have risks of implementing behavior monitoring and intercepting system information, urging Taiwanese people to be more vigilant. What is your comment on this? Spokesperson Zhu Fenglian responded by stating that the DPP authorities have malicious intentions of "anti-China and resistance against China", constantly defaming and slandering mainland technology products and application software, obstructing Taiwanese people from using them, reaching the point of being against technology and against the times, which will only make more and more Taiwanese people resent and reject them.
