Top US nuclear fuel producers announced expansion. US uranium mining companies surged in response.

According to the Wisdom Financial APP, Urenco USA, the only commercially-scaled nuclear fuel producer in the United States, announced on Tuesday that they plan to increase their enriched uranium production capacity by nearly 50% through a multi-billion dollar expansion project. As a result of this news, uranium miners including Cameco (CCJ.US) and Energy Fuels (UUUU.US) saw a significant increase in their stock prices.
