Iran claims to retaliate against the two aggressions by US military.

In the early hours of local time today, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that on June 2nd, local time, a US missile hit an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz, causing damage to its engine room. The Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that in response to this aggression and violation of the rules of the Hormuz Strait, they launched missiles at the vessel "Panaiah", which belonged to the US and Israel. The announcement by the Revolutionary Guard Corps also stated that in a subsequent round of aggression, the US military attacked a communication tower belonging to the Revolutionary Guard on the southern part of Gheshm Island in Iran. In response to this aggression, the Revolutionary Guard Aerospace Force launched missile and drone attacks on a US airbase in a certain country in the region, as well as the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet. The announcement emphasized that Iran had previously warned that in the event of aggression, it would respond drastically and more severely. Iran reiterated that jeopardizing the security of the Hormuz Strait would incur a heavy cost for the US military. According to the US Central Command, Iran launched multiple missiles towards Kuwait and Bahrain. Bahrain is where the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet is located, while Kuwait hosts various US military bases including the Ali Al-Salem Air Base.
