Yesterday, the Department of Ecology and Environment of the Tibet Autonomous Region officially released the "2025 Tibet Autonomous Region Ecological Environment Status Report". The report shows that the ecological environment quality in Tibet remained good last year, with impressive performance in the areas of air and water environment. The environmental air quality in all seven prefectures in the region met the national Class II standard, with the proportion of good air quality days reaching 99.8%; the overall water quality of major rivers and lakes remained good, with lakes such as Namtso Lake, Yamdrok Lake, and Peiku Lake meeting Class II standards.
