Zhou Qiang, deputy secretary of the Baotou Municipal Committee of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is under investigation.

The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on June 2 that, according to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Zhou Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Baotou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and laws and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.
