The People's Bank of China held a meeting of organizational and personnel department heads on May 29 to discuss tasks for the year 2026. The meeting emphasized that this year marks the beginning of the "Five-Year Plan", and all levels of the People's Bank of China's organizational and personnel departments should carry out their work with a strong sense of political responsibility and a rigorous and pragmatic work style. They should solidly organize and carry out learning and education on establishing and practicing the correct view of political achievements, focusing on deepening learning, identifying problems, implementing practical improvements, and combining learning with application. They should coordinate the planning of leadership teams and cadre construction, regularly conduct analysis of the cadre team, use scientific methods to identify and recognize cadres, and enhance the professionalism in selection and appointment of personnel. They should strengthen communication and training, and establish a normalized mechanism for cadre communication.
