The Ebola outbreak in Congo has accumulated a total of 321 confirmed cases.
The World Health Organization reported on June 2nd that the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has accumulated a total of 321 confirmed cases, with an additional 116 suspected cases. This outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus and has so far resulted in 41 deaths. The WHO stated that they will continue to support local monitoring of the outbreak, case tracking, and medical treatment efforts to prevent further spread of the disease.
