Ali DAMO Institute's aortic warning AI enters the National Medical Products Administration's "Innovation Channel"

On June 2nd, Alibaba DAMO Academy announced that its research and development of acute aortic syndrome CT scan image-assisted triage software has entered the special review process for innovative medical devices by the National Medical Products Administration. It is reported that their domestically developed AI product DAMO iAorta, the first of its kind in China for aortic alert, can assist doctors in quickly triaging acute aortic syndrome based on commonly used plain CT scans in emergency departments. The National Medical Products Administration will prioritize the review and approval for its registration and listing.
