Hong Kong Land Registry: The total value of residential building contracts in Hong Kong in May was 65.6 billion Hong Kong dollars, an increase of 71.5% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Zhixun Finance APP, on June 2, the statistics from the Hong Kong Land Registry showed that there were a total of 8537 property sale and purchase agreements submitted for registration in May, a decrease of 1.8% compared to the previous month but an increase of 32.5% compared to the same period last year. Calculated using a twelve-month moving average, there were 7637 property sale and purchase agreements in May, an increase of 2.3% compared to the previous month and an increase of 35.3% compared to the same period last year.
