SAIC MG's first European factory set up in Spain.

SAIC Group's MG brand has selected Spain to build its first European car factory. The local government stated that the project will be located in the northwest of Spain, with an initial investment estimated at around 200 million euros, excluding port fees, and an annual production capacity of up to 120,000 vehicles. The factory is expected to start production in 2028. Originally a British brand, MG was acquired by SAIC Group nearly 20 years ago and is currently one of the best-selling Chinese car brands in Europe.
