Suriname's Acting President Gregory Rusland said on the 28th that Suriname not only sees China as a development partner, but also as a reliable and forward-looking strategic partner. On that day, a reception celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Suriname was held in the Surinamese capital, Paramaribo. Rusland stated in his speech that Suriname has always firmly adhered to the One China policy. Since establishing diplomatic relations, cooperation between Suriname and China has continuously grown and expanded, covering various areas such as trade, infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and cultural exchange, creating a dynamic and diverse cooperative relationship.
