Siles will introduce a new car brand, with deep involvement from Volcano Engine, and plans to launch it in June.

On May 30th, the subsidiary of the Siles Group, Blue Electric Technology Co., Ltd., was renamed as Sadoo Technology. Sadoo Technology will be the legal entity of Siles' new car brand. The new brand is positioned as young and sporty, and will be launched in June with deep cooperation between Siles and ByteDance's volcano engine. The new brand will have a dedicated sales channel, and its products will be sold in both domestic and international markets. Siles has already formed teams for marketing and channels. The cooperation for the new brand has been brewing for a long time, with multiple discussions with relevant partners. Internally, ByteDance refers to the project as "Project A," led by Yang Liwei, the general manager of the volcano engine. On the Siles side, this project belongs to the global business unit of the overseas Business Unit, initially led by the president of the overseas Business Unit, Li Bo. Currently, the details of the cooperation between Siles and the volcano engine have not yet been finalized. However, it is understood that the volcano engine's involvement this time will exceed the previous cooperation with SAIC Roewe, which was a "joint definition, joint development" partnership.
