The country's first professional cargo hub airport with photovoltaic power generation has exceeded 100 million kilowatt-hours.

The smart monitoring platform of Ezhou Power Supply Company of State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd. shows that as of 12:00 on May 27th, the cumulative photovoltaic power generation at Ezhou Huahu International Airport has exceeded 100 million kilowatt hours. Ezhou Huahu International Airport is China's first professional cargo hub airport. Since its operation in 2022, the cargo business has grown rapidly. Currently, 119 cargo routes have been opened, and the hub cargo volume has increased from less than 10,000 tons in the early stages of operation to 1.4781 million tons in 2025. With the expansion of business, the peak power consumption of the airport has also exceeded 20,000 kilowatts.
