Insiders said on the 26th that Thailand plans to import more liquefied natural gas from the United States, and the two sides are accelerating negotiations on a binding long-term purchase contract. Two sources who declined to be named told Reuters that the Thai national oil company is negotiating this contract with a US global venture capital liquefied natural gas company. They did not disclose the scale of the purchase or the duration of the contract, but similar long-term contracts are usually for 15 years or more.
