The Fourth Council of the Cross-Strait Relations Association held its fourth meeting in Beijing on the 27th. The meeting focused on implementing the Party Central Committee's decision-making on Taiwan work, analyzing the current situation in the Taiwan Strait, summarizing the work of the Association over the past year, and planning for the next stage of work. The meeting emphasized that in the face of the complex and severe situation in the Taiwan Strait, the Association must deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on Taiwan work and the overall strategy of the Party in the new era to resolve the Taiwan issue, adhere to the principle of practical results, promote the spirit of struggle, actively and effectively play its functional role, lead all work to achieve practical results with the correct performance view, and contribute greater strength to the realization of national rejuvenation and reunification.
