The latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that this year, the construction of 5G networks in China has continued to advance. As of the end of April, the total number of 5G base stations reached 5.09 million, with a net increase of 171,000 compared to the end of last year, accounting for 38.7% of the total number of mobile base stations, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the first quarter. The number of 5G users is rapidly increasing, with 1.262 billion 5G mobile phone users, a net increase of 57.58 million households compared to the end of last year, accounting for 68.7% of mobile phone users.
