On May 26, the State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing, introducing the relevant situation of the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Provision of Basic Public Services in the Place of Permanent Residence." Zheng Bei, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that in response to the reform and innovation tasks proposed in the "Implementation Opinions," it is necessary to fully leverage the pioneering spirit at the grassroots level, support localities in actively exploring solutions tailored to their specific circumstances, encourage eligible areas to take the lead and try out new initiatives in order to accumulate experience. At the same time, relevant departments will strengthen tracking and effectiveness assessment, conduct dynamic monitoring, continuously promote the optimization and improvement of related policies, strengthen evaluation and effectiveness assessment, enhance monitoring and evaluation of basic public services in the comprehensive performance evaluation of high-quality development, clarify the primary responsibility of local governments, and ensure that all tasks are effectively implemented at the local level.
