According to informed sources, in the case of the poisoning and murder of Lin Qi, the founder of Youzu Network, the poisoner, Xu Yao, was executed several days ago. On March 22, 2024, the Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court publicly pronounced the defendant Xu Yao guilty of intentional homicide and the placement of dangerous substances, sentencing Xu Yao to death for intentional homicide and depriving him of political rights for life; and sentencing Xu Yao to six years in prison for the placement of dangerous substances, with the decision to carry out the death penalty and deprive him of political rights for life.
