Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development: Promote more cities to include families of non-registered permanent residents with stable employment and residence in the public rental housing guarantee range

On May 26th, the State Council Information Office held a regular press conference on State Council policies, introducing the relevant situation of the "Implementation Opinions on Providing Basic Public Services at the Place of Permanent Residence." At the meeting, Xu Liang, Director of the Housing Security Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, stated that solving the housing problem and allowing non-registered permanent residents to come, stay, live safely, and be able to work is an inherent requirement of implementing the people's city concept. Next steps include promoting more cities to include families of non-registered permanent residents who have stable employment and housing within the scope of public rental housing security, and improving the level of equalization of basic public services.
