According to reports, the non-chip division union of Samsung Electronics is seeking an injunction to block the vote on the salary agreement. According to Xinhua News Agency, the Samsung Electronics union began an electronic vote on a temporary salary agreement on May 22. As planned, the electronic voting will continue until 10 a.m. on May 27, with an estimated participation of about 89,000 union members. If more than half of the total number of members participate in the vote and the majority of voters support the agreement, the agreement will be officially enforced; otherwise, both labor and management will need to resume negotiations.
