National Energy Administration: By the end of April, the total installed capacity of electricity generation nationwide had increased by 14.2% year-on-year.
On May 25th, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity statistics for January-April. By the end of April, the country's accumulated installed electricity generation capacity was 39.9 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.2% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power was 12.5 billion kilowatts, an increase of 26.2% year-on-year; the installed capacity of wind power was 6.6 billion kilowatts, an increase of 22.0% year-on-year. From January to April, the average utilization of electricity generation equipment in the country was 925 hours, a decrease of 84 hours compared to the same period last year.
