A-share market closing review: The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index opened lower and rose by nearly 6%, with continuous strong performance in chip industry stocks.
The three major indexes of A shares collectively rose today. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.66%, the ChiNext Index rose 2.1%, the Bei50 Index fell 0.83%, and the Kechuang 50 Index rose 5.88%. The total market turnover was 3.2269 trillion yuan, with a volume increase of 302.3 billion yuan compared to the previous day, and the overall market outperformed individual stocks. In terms of sector themes, the semiconductor sector, diamond cultivation, advanced packaging, storage chips, electricity, airport transportation, and liquor were among the top gainers; while the oil and gas exploration and services, battery, and gaming sectors were among the top losers. In terms of market performance, the semiconductor sector performed strongly throughout the day, with East Chip stocks hitting the daily limit early in the morning, and the sector further reaching new highs in the afternoon, with Huahong, NingXiao Electronics also hitting the daily limit, and more than 10 stocks such as SMIC, Shenmei Shanghai, Tuojing Technology, and Dongwei Peninsula rose by over 10%. The airport transportation sector was active, with Hainan Airlines hitting the daily limit intraday, and China Eastern Airlines, Southern Airlines, and Spring Airlines leading in gains. The liquor sector opened low and rebounded, with Jinhei Liquor and Huangtai Liquor hitting the daily limit, and Jinzhongzi Liquor, Yingjia Gong Liquor, and Kouzi Cellar leading in gains. The power sector gained for the second consecutive day, with Huane Mongolian Power, Jingneng Power, and Electric Investment Green Energy among the stocks hitting the daily limit. In terms of losses, the oil and gas exploration and services sector continued to decline due to the easing of tensions in the Middle East and the continued plunge in international oil prices, with SciClone leading the sector in declines and Qianeng Hengxin and Tongyuan Petroleum leading in losses. The battery sector also performed poorly, with Tianji stock hitting the daily limit, and Tianci Materials and Shengyang stock leading in losses.
