J.P. Morgan analysts reiterated in their latest report that they expect the S&P 500 index to surpass 9000 points within the next year, which would mean a 22% increase from current levels. J.P. Morgan's global investment strategist, Kriti Gupta, and others pointed out in the latest report that although there are still widespread concerns in the market about US inflation and the Iran war, if the scale of the artificial intelligence supercycle exceeds market expectations, the overall upward trend in the market could continue. J.P. Morgan also stated that if the AI revolution leads to an increase in productivity of company employees, corporate earnings could still grow at a rate of over 10% without causing inflation - which would provide a key driver for further gains in US stocks.
