Australia's giant lithium mine has been approved to expand its concentrate production capacity, doubling it to 4.4 million tons.

The regulatory document released by the Western Australia state of Australia reveals that the expansion plan for the global large hard rock lithium mine Mount Holland has been officially approved, and the project's production capacity will double. This expansion will add new mineral resources and replicate the existing complete ore processing line. Once completed, the annual production capacity of lithium spodumene concentrate can reach 4.4 million tons, while the annual production of lithium hydroxide will remain at 50,000 tons.
