Benin announces the list of new members of the government.
Benin President Patrice Talon signed a presidential decree on the evening of May 24, announcing the list of new government members. According to the decree, the new government includes 19 ministers and 5 ministerial-level representatives. Among them, former Benin Ambassador to France Corinne Amori Bruno was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and former Director General of the Economic and Financial Department Aristide Medenu was appointed as Minister of Economy and Finance. Former Foreign Minister Aurelien Agadji Bakary was appointed as Minister of Tourism and Foreign Trade. The Ministers of Health, Interior, Justice and Legislation, Sports and Civic Engagement, and Family and Social Action were retained.
