According to the Qi Cha Cha app, recently, China Offshore Oil Field Development Co., Ltd. was established. Its business scope includes marine oil exploration, marine natural gas exploration, deep-sea area resource exploration and development, marine engineering critical supporting system development, etc. The equity penetration displayed by Qi Cha Cha shows that the company is jointly held by China Offshore Oil's wholly-owned subsidiary, CNOOC Limited, and other companies.
