Commercial spaceflight achieves key technological breakthrough. Recently, FireSaint Aerospace's independently developed "FireSaint-1" 200-ton full-flow staged combustion cycle liquid oxygen methane engine successfully completed hot firing tests of the rich oxygen preburner scale-down prototype. Ge Minghe, founder of FireSaint Aerospace, stated that the plan is to achieve the maiden flight of the Qitian-2 rocket in 2028, reduce launch costs to 10,000 RMB per kilogram, and establish a low-cost, high-reliability, mass production commercial spaceflight capacity system.
