Dongfeng Motor Corporation recalls 68,000 Dongfeng Nissan N7 and N6 vehicles.

Recently, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automotive Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automotive Products", filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. The recall number is S2026M0058V: starting from May 25, 2026, a total of 49,465 units of some N7 cars produced between March 28, 2025 and March 11, 2026, and a total of 18,800 units of some N6 cars produced between October 21, 2025 and March 18, 2026 will be recalled. Due to design reasons, the accelerator pedal assembly of the vehicles within the scope of this recall wears down the internal friction block after long-term use, and the rotating parts of the pedal interfere with the protruding support ears, resulting in the accelerator pedal not returning smoothly, posing a safety hazard. Dongfeng Motor Corporation will replace the improved accelerator pedal assembly for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge, and N6 cars will also need to replace the brake pedal that matches the new design to eliminate safety hazards.
