According to the "China Innovation Drug and Medical Device Multi-Payment White Paper" jointly written by China Life Insurance and MG Health, the sales scale of the innovative drug market is expected to reach 195 billion yuan by 2025, achieving a significant increase compared to last year. Among them, the amount of basic medical insurance expenditure is about 90.5 billion yuan, which is still the main source of domestic innovation drug device payment. The role of commercial insurance in payments has also been enhanced. By 2025, the scale of commercial health insurance payments for innovative drug devices has reached 15.2 billion yuan, an increase of 23% compared to the previous year, including 8.2 billion yuan from medical insurance payments and 7 billion yuan from critical illness insurance payments.
