On the afternoon of May 21, Wang Jun, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs, met with Uruguayan Vice Minister of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries, Carambula. The two sides exchanged views on implementing leaders' consensus, deepening cooperation on inspection and quarantine and food safety, and establishing a smart customs partnership. Uruguayan Ambassador to China, Carrau, also attended the meeting.
