The Prosecutor's Office of Ecuador reported on the 21st that, with the coordination and cooperation of Colombian and Peruvian authorities, Ecuador launched a large-scale law enforcement operation in the early hours of the day to crack down on a multinational network involved in illegal trade of explosives, firearms, and ammunition. A total of 21 people were arrested. The Prosecutor's Office of Ecuador stated on social media that law enforcement officers conducted 29 raids in 7 provinces, including the Pichincha province where the capital Quito is located, and seized a firearm, 40 bottles of ketamine, as well as documents, communication equipment, and other items related to the case.
