Cryptocurrency trading platform Blockchain.com issued a statement on May 21st stating that it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its proposed IPO of Class A common stock. The number of shares to be issued and the price range of the offering have not yet been determined. The implementation of this IPO is subject to market conditions and other relevant conditions, and will need to wait for the completion of the SEC review process before proceeding. Last year, Bullish and Gemini Space Station became the first cryptocurrency trading platforms to go public. Kraken's parent company, Payward, also submitted an IPO application last year in secret.
