Bao'an District, Guangming District, Pearl River Estuary, and Shenzhen Bay have experienced heavy rainfall, with a further 40-60 mm of precipitation expected in the next 3 hours. The Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory issued an orange rainstorm warning signal for the above-mentioned areas on May 20, 2026 at 19:40. The city has entered a state of defense against heavy rain. Please stay away from low-lying and flood-prone areas, as there is a high risk of flash floods in the aforementioned areas.
