The State Post Bureau announced the operating conditions of the postal industry in China for the first four months of this year today. The data shows that the volume of postal services in the industry increased by 4.1% year-on-year, maintaining a steady growth trend. The latest data from the State Post Bureau shows that from January to April, the postal industry in China completed a total of 70.16 billion pieces of postal services, an increase of 4.1% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the volume of express delivery services completed was 64.57 billion, an increase of 5.1% year-on-year. In the first four months, the market size of China's express delivery industry has steadily expanded. Multiple holidays have driven online consumption, and express delivery companies continue to enhance their service capabilities in multiple areas and scenarios. The data shows that from January to April, the proportions of express delivery volumes in the eastern, central, and western regions were 68.0%, 21.2%, and 10.8% respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of the central region increased by 1.8 percentage points, and the proportion of the western region increased by 1.6 percentage points.
